As a freelancer my days never look the same! I do like to split my days into two types of categories, though. On admin days I will just work from home in front of the computer all day - preferably in comfy sweats - and then on days when I leave the house I will pack them to the brim with meetings and events.
What exciting projects are you working on at the moment?
I’m working on a new talk show with a brand at the moment and I’m gathering a group of fabulous women to be part of it. As a presenter I love connecting and talking to people and really getting to know them in a meaningful way. I’m also in the very early stages of putting together plans for my own brand in the wellness space.
Style Inspiration?
My first style inspiration was my grandmother - she never had a hair out of place and was extremely stylish. Her wardrobe included Hermes scarfs, Dior bags, boucle jackets and fur coats - and she wasn’t afraid of colour! Also - as a teen I saw Britt Ekland at her one-woman show and was immediately charmedby her life, career and style. I dug into old photographs of her and loved so many of her looks. I’m lucky enough to say we both now follow each either on Instagram.
Flats Or Heels?
Both, please! Although if I really had to choose - I would say heels just because they look more flattering.
Brunch or Cocktails?
Give me a leisurely brunch every day of the week!
Soundtrack of my life.
‘Genie In A Bottle’ by Christina Aguilera.
My Idea of a Perfect Weekend
It would probably be getting out of the city and being whisked away to somewhere like The Newt in Somerset and alternating between the spa and enjoying endless courses of tasty dishes made from fresh, organic ingredients.
What are you favourite Camilla Elphicks and how would you style them?
This is so hard as I love so many styles but currently I’m excited by the red ‘Lover flats’ - I would wear them with a short check skirt or boucle tweed mini and style it matching jacket, a frothy blouse and glossy hair for a real-life Gossip Girl style moment!
