Vegan Capsule Collection

Driven by a desire to pave the way to a more progressive approach to materials and to offer an animal friendly collection, Camilla Elphick introduces a vegan capsule shoe collection. Using non-leather materials, intricate hand finished details, new ultra wearable and flattering silhouettes in spring shades that celebrate women. This is just the start, without compromising on style, the brand plans to expand the range and also introduce a vegan accessory line.

The brand is committed to taking steps to evolve through its sustainable actions and reduce its waste. Notably last year, Camilla Elphick decided to launch exclusively online in an effort to reduce their carbon footprint. They can now design on demand and make shoes within six weeks and they only work within a small proximity to their factory and suppliers in Portugal – valuing quality, sourcing of materials, production and attention to detail to produce their shoes with the highest quality, yet at an accessible price-point.

Since launch, the brand has worked with Positive Luxury and were awarded the butterfly mark. From the end of April 2019 the brand will launch an initiative to welcome their customers to return their Camilla Elphick worn shoes once they have reached their shelf life – they will then be deconstructed and recycled by their factory.

The new Camilla Elphick vegan collection includes new work-wear styles: the ‘Portia’ pointed pump, with a stiletto heel in a colour palette of soft white, powder blue and textured navy blue. Whilst the ‘Alicia’ flat sling-back pump comes in contrasting colour combinations of nude and black, red and rose pink and navy blue and black and features a brushed gold buckle. Both styles are finished with the brands signature cross stitch. An added benefit is the extra cushioned insole which makes these shoes super comfortable and wearable.

“I love our new vegan range, as this was something I felt personally strongly about offering our customers. I wanted to create vegan shoe styles that might appeal to people that hadn’t considered wearing vegan shoes before. I also felt we could expand our offering of work-wear styles in appealing and eye-catching colour-ways – I’ve always believed in making a memorable first and lasting impression”.
